Hero Arts Window cards

Hi Friends,
I'm now smiling big reading all your sweet comments on my little colorful lawn fawn tags on my previous post HERE . Thank you so much , all of you are sooooo sweeettt ^^ your comments really made my day.

Today i'm gonna share my latest creations for Hero Arts challenge this month. It's really a challenge for me. I don't own any Fall stamps, and the color palette of the month is not easy too. So i prefer to create cards with window.
Ok ? I guess it's also not easy... i never made window cards before.. so the first thing came into mind is why not creating the real window :)

Thinking of you fox
Stamps Hero Arts Fox wood stamp, Hero arts Find Joy Clear stamp
Coloring Copics and distress inks walnut stain (for window)

My second card was inspired by my self. I always miss and think about my boyfriend almost all time , during the day or night.. when i have break time i leave him some messages to his mobile phone. It's really not easy for me to live in so far from him. Sometimes i really miss the time going out with him on a date or dinner together.

Thinking of you (night)

and the inside of the card...
Thinking of you inside (day)
Stamps Hero Arts Heart Owls wood stamp, Hero arts all occasion messages and Be happy Clear stamp
Coloring Copics and distress inks walnut stain (for branch)

Real simple huh ? I really hope you like them. Some of you might notice most of my hero arts cards are using these two heart owls and fox wood stamps. hehehe.. i still don't own many of hero arts stamps, so i'm making the most out of these stamps i own ^^

Wee Memories Patterned Paper

Yay! It's saturday! and we're back with wee memories challenge!

Before proceed to challenge details, i just want to express how happy i am today!! I know this week i have been away from posting any blog post or cards, i was so busy preparing my students for their mandarin exam and ATC's swaps for the coming World cardmaking day. but all of my works was worth it.. because today my students came to my place with good news, all of them ( 3 junior high students , and 3 from elementary 5th grade students) got 100+ score for their Reading exams!! (it's like A+) woohoo! i jumped with joy! it was a huge surprise! and now i have to prepare some rewards for them because i promised them so.. hahahahaha.. i told them to get 100, because honestly i thought they would got like 90-95 score.

Back to challenge, If last week we required you to make card without pattern paper, This week we ask you to go look on your paper stash and start to create a card using pattern paper. because that's the theme of this week challenge. Patterned paper!
and this week we're sponsored by a very great company with lovely paper lines Echo Park Paper!!! i {heart} their products sooo much!
Honestly ,I myself am not so good with pattern paper, i also don't own many of them, but i own some of 6x6 and 8x8 paper pads which is perfect for cardmaking. I'm using october afternoon papers from fly a kite collection combined with Hedgies from Penny black stamps (miss hedgies so much) and Happy stamps from hero arts life of party clear set to create this tags. I distressed the edge of each tag with distress inks wild honey and using ribbon and baker's twine from The twinery as finishing touch.
