One more Penny Black card before Holiday ^^

I'm going to spend my holiday soon in Surabaya, thats the city where i used to live whilist in highschool and going to university. and that means.. i'm going to spend my days... WITHOUT CRAFTING!!! im gonna miss my desk.. :-(

But this is the time for me to spend with my family and friends.. so before leaving my hometown i just wanna try to make one more penny black card with my THE ONLY CHRISTMAS PENNY BLACK STAMP i have..

I just wanna try to make smthing classic.. i dont have distress ink so i was using my Derwent softcolour to darken the edges.. but it doesnt look as great as distress ink..

I was trying to take a good picture of it, under the natural light, but its not a sunny day today.. so.. here's the result!

Stamping on anything BUT WHITE CARD ?

ok, this is a challenge for me. i dont have those gorgeus tree penny black stamp, i dont have snowflake stamp, and i also dont have white frosty ink.. what should i do ? i really want to do some penny black stamping challenge (my friend said a beginner should practice more to be better at cardmaking) so i want to practice!

i decided to stamp on a pale yellow cardstock from American craft with Rich Cocoa memento ink. and i hope this suits the rule of this week penny black saturday challenge. It doesnt turn out as cheerful as i want but it become a chocolaty birthday card. Actually i'm the one in the family who doesn't eat Chocolate that much. hehe

I also picked this cute fat card birthday stamp, so i can do the Party time tuesday Balloon Fun challenge :)

Today i'm gonna share my very first Betsy card from penny black stamp set betsy bluebell.. she's just so cute and lovely little girl with little bow. I was never been such a feminine pinkish girl when i was a kid, but i start to love pink even more. pink bow, pink clothes, pink paper and pink hearts... they're just so sweet !

My favourite stamp and animal combo!

Just the first time i saw this penny black stamp ,i'm already in love ♥ with it.. I'm using 4099k snowkiss stamp from Penny Black for my christmas card this time.

I also love polar bear so much, its white, and fluffy.. and endangered species.. i have so many polar bear collection stuff (beside cats) at home ! ♥♥♥ take a look at the little bell on the polar's scarf ^^

For the Birthday girls

I earn my living by teaching mandarin at school and giving private lesson to students at home since i got back from China. I have been teaching for A YEAR, and I'm so glad and feel blessed of having so many cute and sweet students in my life.

Eventhough its not easy to teach little kids but they're such angels who put smile on my face on my days.. ^^

"THAT QUICK ?"

If i have to be HONEST,

There're 4 things about me that everyone would agree (at least 98% of you) :

One, I would say i'm a very talkative (or even more) and blah person about many things.

Two, I suck at MATH !! :(

Three , I'm in love with ART and LANGUAGE (^^)

Four , OK, MY BIG DREAM ! (or may be huge) : TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD (who wouldn't want this ?)

Traveling is my passion and i could tell every specific details about places i've been to. That's why i wrote my first blog : Little Steps of Cathy . Soon after i stayed in china for 2 years, i almost had no time for blogging, because of many reasons. and one of them is because blogspot was blocked in China :(

Now i have more reason to write my NEW BLOG and its about ART AND CRAFT!!! As i mentioned in my previous blog , i love to meet new people, and i DID meet so many crafters, cardmakers who inspires me and support me to do things i LOVE! YAY! Thanks to Yenni, Vera, Dwita, Rina and more more more friends i can't mention here.

one MAIN PROBLEM i'm facing rite now is I'm so new to cardmaking !
