A welcome baby card for a friend

I am back after MIA for a month. My bump is getting bigger now, and i tend to be VERY clumsy.. i drop lots of things while crafting. and its a hard work for me to bend and pick up stuff (i'm the kind of person who tidy up my craft desk right away after crafting) . But I manage to make a card to a friend who just gave birth :) For me, this year is totally a babies-year.. why ? i have 9 relatives (in my family) who is having baby this year, and lots of friends too ^^ So i think i will make lots of babies card this year. I just cant wait for the cute addition to my family too hehehe

I mist the background,then die cut the frame, and adding all the elements from Paper Smooches Pip Squeaks stamp set, and add the glossy accent finishing touch. I paperpieced all the elements from Studio Calico Hey day paperpad. I just love soft feminine color papers!! This welcome baby card is inspired by Paper Smooches SPARKS picture perfect challenge.

Hello friends..

Today i am going to share a card that is inspired by a song that i have been listening to since the preparation of my wedding day (last year). It's in my favorite playlist and i just love the melody ,the lyrics and Bryan adams' voice.. :) This song also reminds me how grateful i am to be married with my best friend. The one who used to ask you out just for a coffee then the next thing you know, every coffee you had with him taste so special.

Birthday Present Shaped Card

It's friday ! i am such in a good mood today ^^

Today i am going to share a birthday card i made inspired by Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge cool shades color combo which i saw from my friend's Virginia card. Her card is super stylish! Here's the color combo :

 

I was digging my scrap card stocks paper for these colors and use them to make a shaped birthday card for my friend using some paper smooches stamp set Chilly Chums , sentiment from Party Posse , tag toast shaped Wake up , and star background from Space Cadet.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

When it comes to Christmas , Which character is your favorit ? Santa ? Snowman ? Reindeer ? or elves ?

If i have to pick, i may pick Snowman, because they are round, chubby, fat, white .. just look like my favorite non-pet animal, Polar Bear. But my mom is a big fan of Santa character, she thinks santa is really cute. She keeps asking me to make a Santa card. So i made one, using my favorite technique, distress and background stamping :)

My very talented friend birthday celebration !

My very talented friend Virginia Lu is turning 50 soon, and she's having this fun virtual celebration party on her blog along with her friends. She's a very very sweet friend, i'm so lucky to know her.

My top 3 things i'm amazed about her :

1.She also has been inspiring me with her works and her unlimited creativity. Her blogs always been my favorite place to look for inspirations for my crafting. She has great talent on cardmaking and calendar making , to be honest, most of the times her works makes me want to shop more!! hahaha , some of my craft tools i ordered all comes from her blog ,such as Hero Arts Musical Walk (which is her fav too), Musical background, well.. other's still on my wishlist such as SRM mini calendar, and all Hero Arts stamps she's using on her new calendar HERE ! 

2. She has great sense of humour, love her posting about her family . especially the "did you know" conversations.

3.Her comments and advice always encourages me both in crafting and my long-distance relationship :D

Congratulations Virginia on your card publications, i know more are coming and i can't wait to see your featured cards. and now the rooster on my card is shouting from across the world " Happy happy birthday ,my friend!  Have a nice birthday !! 祝你生日快乐，身体健康，天天开心，心想事成。":)
