Turns 5

I'm so happy to share my first birthday LO for 5 years old boy, my nephew (from my cousin). His name is Geraldo or Aldo. He's really adorable, and smiles a lot around his friends and family. I also always his hairstyle , reminds me of Tintin ^_^
He's one of my nephew who's really close to me recently, he's also one of my student at kindergarten where i teach mandarin. Of course i won't make him favourite during class since he always talks and moves a lot ! very jumpy too . hahahaha..

Here's what i made for him for his birthday ~ a special happy lay out

LO for Aldo
Papers JillyBean Soup, American Crafts cardstock pastel
Stamps Hero Arts Life of party , Lawn Fawn Bannerific
Others American Crafts Thickers and stickers from Jenny Bowlin

I don't have any reference or sketch to make this LO. I really have fun making this Layout and i know i need to practice more ,because making LO is different from making a card :) any comments and input are welcome so i can make better layout next time .

Jillybeansoup + Hero arts

Hi friends! how are u all doing ?
i hope everyone is happy welcoming summer :D
I did not craft for 2 days because i have problem with my eye. My right eye was swollen for unknown reason. I was super panic!! because in a week i will be attending my cousin wedding, and soon will b travelling to some places for holiday. I went to a doctor and he gave me some antibiotics and anti-swollen pills. and it was getting worse yesterday, it got so itchy and teary. then i tried to go see an ophthamologist, but he was doing some surgery so i have to come back today...
but praise Lord! this morning i feel soooo much better. and im ready for some crafting that needed to be done soon. I plan to give some handmade gifts for my friends and my boy friend's sisters when i visit them in Bangkok.

For my friends, as she's a book lover, so i made her a set of bookmarks using Hero arts stamps and jillybean soup paper collections. This inspiration come from 350 Cards & Gifts magazine i won from Moxie fab challenge weeks ago. I'm so loving this magazine. I think this edition is a-must-have! This is my first cardmaking magazine, and when i see all the pages, im so inspired and tell myself " i should try making this, and this one, and.. wow, i want to make this, and this..." :D soo excited!!
