First Magnolia Cards

My Indonesian friends are so addicted to Magnolia stamps right now. I myself own 2 stamps of Magnolia i won from a giveaway ,one of them is from Christmas edition . Haven't inked them since i got them :-) I always admire my friend who always make beautiful shabby vintage card style of Magnolia Yulis Kartika , but it's always been a challenge for me to make one.  So i thought this time would give it a try to make Magnolia cards my own style :-D also joining th MDUChallenge this week.

Both Background stamps and sentiments from Hero Arts

Hope you like my magnolia cards.
Good news, my parents are coming to Thailand tomorrow, and i've missed them so much!
Hope you all have a wonderful week too!

Google Reader is ending : a new way to follow blog and a card with new style

Hello friends,
Just sharing.. being away from crafting desk for a long time makes me confused.

First, I was confused by the NEW FLICKR layout. It took me a while to learn how to use it. Second, now they are ending the Google reader.. *sigh* and i just knew that from my friend Kathy

There's two suggestions i got from her for you to transfer your google readers if you haven't already :
1. Feedly ( Click here to follow me via Feedly )
2. Bloglovin (click here to follow me via Bloglovin)

I am here also sharing a card that i made with a style that i never tried before. "NO COLORING at all!" hope you like it :D

Love Kraft !

One of my 2012 crafting resolution is always trying something new, i tried to do this since December, i think this way will help me stretch my creativity. I don't want to make only cards, i now also trying making mini albums, scrap lay out, and some home decor. I also don't want only do some coloring technique, i also want to play with stamps, inks, card stocks, masking, mist :) It's always fun to try something NEW!

Today i am sharing one valentine card i made with Kraft Cardstock. Last year i was trying hard to find this cardstock, until a new craft shop opened in the city where my mom lives, so when i went there i bought some Kraft card stock , Basic Kraft by Bazzil. and I LOVE IT!

I precut the 30x30 cardstock to some ready cards size, and then use the left over to make this card. I tried some inks to create Hearts background, and it turns out the Hero Art Shadow Soft Sand ink is perfect for this. It creates such subtle background on Kraft color. And i DIDn't do any copics coloring on this card ^^

Sending you love

Stamps Hero Arts Type clear set, Find Joy clear set (little heart) , Life isn't perfect (dog)
Coloring Distress inks , Hero art shadow inks

Wishing you early happy christmas :)

Hi Everyone,
Since i am gonna be away from blogging land for a while, i am gonna write a short blogpost here :)
I'm going to Jakarta, and China for 9 days, and will be back before new year. It's gonna be a long trip because we are gonna have to transit in a couple airports and it also gonna take more than 5 hours to wait. I decided to bring some crafting stuff along with me..

A couple of die cut tags with stamped sentiment and background, and twine

Color pencils. I love these! I'm gonna use them to colors..............

...... these stamped images by Penny Black. Also bring scissors, scrap papers and foam tape.

I know during this trip i'm gonna meet lots of new friends, and people who's going to guide us :) So i am thinking to give them same thank you tag cards ,which is unfinished yet :) and i'm gonna finish these cards during my trip.
If i finished coloring all the images, i can still draw by myself and color them :D Because i know on the way back to Indonesia, i will be waiting at a transit airport for 8 hours!!!

I wanna wish you all early Merry ChristmaHave a wonderful time with your family!!

Hero Arts Window cards

Hi Friends,
I'm now smiling big reading all your sweet comments on my little colorful lawn fawn tags on my previous post HERE . Thank you so much , all of you are sooooo sweeettt ^^ your comments really made my day.

Today i'm gonna share my latest creations for Hero Arts challenge this month. It's really a challenge for me. I don't own any Fall stamps, and the color palette of the month is not easy too. So i prefer to create cards with window.
Ok ? I guess it's also not easy... i never made window cards before.. so the first thing came into mind is why not creating the real window :)

Thinking of you fox
Stamps Hero Arts Fox wood stamp, Hero arts Find Joy Clear stamp
Coloring Copics and distress inks walnut stain (for window)

My second card was inspired by my self. I always miss and think about my boyfriend almost all time , during the day or night.. when i have break time i leave him some messages to his mobile phone. It's really not easy for me to live in so far from him. Sometimes i really miss the time going out with him on a date or dinner together.

Thinking of you (night)

and the inside of the card...
Thinking of you inside (day)
Stamps Hero Arts Heart Owls wood stamp, Hero arts all occasion messages and Be happy Clear stamp
Coloring Copics and distress inks walnut stain (for branch)

Real simple huh ? I really hope you like them. Some of you might notice most of my hero arts cards are using these two heart owls and fox wood stamps. hehehe.. i still don't own many of hero arts stamps, so i'm making the most out of these stamps i own ^^
