Wet embossing and Misting

Hi friends, 

I want to share a card today, it's a very quick card everyone can make under 10 minutes :) I'm using wet embossing   plus misting technique to color.I'm going to enter this card to Moxie Fab Splatter technique challenge.

1. Stamp Penny Black "Soft Wings" stamp using versa mark and use white embossing powder, heat and dry .

2. Use 2 colors of glimmer mists ( i choose blue and green ) and spray the card from the butterfly angle/side. note : Shake a little bit to make the splatter effect.

3. Stamp sentiment from Penny Black "Gratitude"

Colored Pencils and Watercolors cards

Hi friends !

This week is Technique week at Penny Black blog. The designers were asked to make projects using different technique or media. Today i'm going to share how i use Penny Black stamps with Color pencils and Watercolors.

For Color pencils, i really love how their colors stands out on kraft paper. I am going to make a lot of tags for my students, because using color pencils definitely help me on the budget (compared to Copics). Tips : use white color pencil to highlight some part of the image, or make accent.

I still have 19 tags to work on !

For watercolors, Penny Black has the BEST stamp image to go with. If i am using watercolors, i definitely will pick stamp image with more details. Once its colored, there's no need to add another embellishment or details, just adhere the picture to a coordinating color card stock .

When coloring, i prefer to make not-so-smooth color blends, to show the highlights

Penny Black encouragement cards

Hi!!
Welcoming monday with two encouragement cards i made using Penny Black stamps!

First card is inspired of me trying to loose some weights these months.LOL. i guess i have lost about 10 pounds, and still working on it.. ^^ using the cute doggy from Penny black Critters Workout stamp. The colorful sentiments is inspired by Yes Virginia I'm inspired colorful challenge theme.

 

 Second card is just an idea how to send The Sun to some rainy or gloomy places :) 

I'm using the sun from Penny black Mimi Fun in the Sun stamp set.

Black, white and one color

This week is the last week i am going to give tutoring to my students at home.. and today i felt so sad and lonely as they left my house. Even though i still get to see them at school, but my house is going to be less merrier, and less crowded without them visiting every weeks. Teaching them has been one of my favorite moments in my life ^^ They really put all the beautiful colors in my life :) I'm sure I'm gonna miss them...

Talking about colors, Penny black designers has been asked to create card using Black + White + one other color. and i made this card .....

and only one stamp set is needed to make this card, it's Penny black 'Hello Gorgeous' 

I created 3 panels, and stamp most of elements of the stamp set to each panels then added the red colors & bow.

Happy Banners

Today the Penny Black designers are sharing their cards design using Banners , which i think is really fun!!  You can see them HERE on the blog. and i created this happy hedgie from Love london set bringing all the happy banners ! Created this banners using some leftover scrap cardstocks papers :) and mix matching many sentiments.

A Thank You card

Thank you so much for everyone's support to encourage me when my mojo left me these 2 weeks. During my parents trip to China and Vietnam, all duties goes to me and i was super busy. Here's a card and a tag i made using Penny Black stamps.

The first card is a thank you card using layered pattern papers i have on my scrap paper piles ^^ I also would like to enter this card to Moxie Fab world gingham challenge.

Second one is a get-well-soon tag,transforming an image of bear sitting on sofa to a resting bear.

Father's day card

Hi everyone!!


I'm back today with one of the cutest set from Penny Black i just got , called 'a bear of all trades' . It's unbearably cute. and i love this set beary much!! and just perfect for Father's day card.

i made the wood boards from Inspiring slapstick stamp, and arrange them to make " DAD " word

 Supplies Penny Black stamps  'a bear of all trades' 30-108 , 'inspiring' 40-113 , colored using copies and distress inks. 

I'm gonna keep this card until Father's day then give it to my dad, since he's really the best in everything!!! , and helping me a lot fixing lots of things in my room. hope he like's it ^^ 

My parents are leaving for traveling for 2 weeks tomorrow... i am gonna be even more busier by helping them taking care of our shop. ^^ wish me luck

Trying SRM stickers

Happy Monday everyone!

It's been like forever since last time i wrote a blogpost.... 

I hope i will have more time making my cards after i resign from my job :)

I never try any SRM stickers, so i guess i want to try making simple cards using them. Thanks to my friend Virginia who sent me this stickers.Her projects using SRM stickers are sooo amazing and inspiring!

 these two are QUICK CARDS i made less than 10 minutes. Need these cards to give to my friend and student who celebrate Birthday this week. I love using SRM stickers.
